Our half-day Jerusalem tour is the perfect option for travelers with limited time. This tour will take you through the city’s most important historical and religious sites, from the Western Wall to the Church of the Holy Sepulcher. We begin with a panoramic overview from Mount Scopus, from which point you can see both the New City and the Temple Mount Esplanade of the Old City. We then continued along the Kidron Valley to view the Garden of Gethsemane. We enter the Old City through the Zion Gate and walk to see the Jewish Quarter along the 1700-year-old Byzantine main street, the Cardo that has been excavated. Then we stop at the Western wall, the most sacred site in the Jewish faith. the term Western Wall is also called the “Wailing Wall” for Jewish prayer. It forms part of the larger retaining wall dating from the end of the Second Temple period. You can place a prayer note between the wall’s holly ancient stones. We continue to the Stations of the Cross (via dolorosa) where Christ walked towards his crucifixion and the Church of the Holy Sepulcher – the site of the crucifixion. The walking tour ends at approximately 13:00 in the Old City of Jerusalem through the traditional & colorful Old City market Bazaar.
